kittens by the river bank in summer!

A lovely summers dream, walking along the river bank in the height of a beautiful summers day. The air is nice and warm, people are picnicking along the bank-side.

There are sailing boats on the water as I take a break from walking and sit down to watch the sailing boats. To my right there is a black cat, a mean looking one. It’s on the move, about to pounce on a smaller cat. I interfere by trying to stop the two hurting each other, as I’m doing this I see there is a woman sitting on the grass watching me closely, she is sitting picnicking with her children.

The smaller cat is mainly white, but has pink ears! It runs towards a small hole probably made by a rabbit and sits within it. The large black cat pounces upon the little one and takes it in it’s mouth.

I cry out loud and say “it’s biting it, it’s got it in its mouth” The smaller cat shrinks in size and clearly is a kitten.  I immediately realise the black cat is the little kittens mother.

I turn and say to the woman sitting close by “It is its mother”. At this point I can see many kittens that also belong to the litter.
