I found myself in a car with other people, traveling together trying to find our way back?

Traveling a long a high river bank close to the edge. The track was made of hard sand covered mainly with grass. It wasn’t a clear run, edges of the bank had collapsed in places, swerving to avoid these and boulders along the way.

It got to a point when we had to leave the car behind us and continue on foot. It was then I could see a man and two horses riding towards us in the river. The river was deep in the middle but shallow on the edges, I could see cobble stones beneath the water. As the guy came closer It became clear there were two horses, one mother and it’s baby. The baby was running alongside it’s mother and rider. The rider looked like the character from Indiana Jones. They past me by and continued on their journey, no words were said.
