Hornby train set

Well here I’am walking down a street of antique stalls again. I arrive at a stall displaying a O Gauge post war Hornby Type 40 loco. I have one of these in black at home from my childhood, these can be in black, red or dark green.

There was a guy in front of me looking at it and seeing my interest started describing to me it’s history. I hadn’t seen how much it cost before he showed me the price label on the side of the train. I liked all of these; The whole collection, train rails and buildings came to £278. I talk to the stall owner and offer him £68, he says no!

The train was not the usual colour, it was a very pale light green with gold lines on it. The railway tracks were very narrow gauge and not the normal expected track size for this time peorid. There was also a model garage that was part of the collection.

The next thing I recall was meeting new people and having dinner in a restaurant.

Here’s a picture to give you and idea, but of course the remember the colours in my dream. In fairly good condition it’s worth £55

Walk along the sea front

I find myself walking along a a concrete walkway directly on the sea front on a very bright day.

There are two people here I know in daily life. Where we are going I do not know. I look to my left and see what can only be described as a view you get when climbing flights of stairs in an office block, looking over and down at the point where the railings are you see through to the depths below.

I could see multiple levels connected by what seemed to be a train in the from of a ski lift but traveling down at a 45 degree angle. The carriage was a bright yellow with black lines just like that of a JCB. I had the impression it was a public transport system, the view we had was from an engineers view point and not usually available to the public. To get to this vantage point I had to climb down and now found it difficult to get back to where my friends were, I could call to them and hear their responses clearly. I took another route, over the wall to my right, lowered myself down to the level below and continued to walk quickly along the walkway to a point where I could climb up and meet with my friends again.

I was able to get a head and climb the stairs to the higher level, as I was walking back to the point where my friends were, a young lady called out to me, run up with here friend and took an arm either side of me. The girl on my left said a mutual friend of hers and mine suggested she talks to me she said with a beautiful smile, I was in need of company and here I am she said!

The two girls looked identical, same height as me except the girl to my left was wearing light blue grey high heels. Her hair was a beautiful blond and eyes of sapphires.

I awoke to another morning, outside the sun is shining brightly with a light frost on the ground.

Trains and caves

I have an image in my head of a dream that took place last night, well two images infact, let’s call them scenes.
The first scene involves a train journey which is quite a common factor in my dreamland. I recall being late for the train and having to rush to catch it, crossing the live rails to do so, I’m not the only one, many people are running over the rails to catch the train. It’s not a work environment, the people are casually dressed, the day is warm and sunnyand the carriages are very full, not many places left to sit. The carriage is mixed, males and females, very jolly with lots of conversation taking place. I find a seat and continue with the journey.

The second image is me standing with others looking down into a large cavern. The whole area is bright with sunlight, a yellowish mustard light. Everywhere is vibrant, people are happy with lots of conversation. Looking down into the cavern, there is a train line and a stationery carriage at a 45 degree angle pointing down. That’s as far as the scene takes me, maybe more will come to me later, it often does.
